The paintings in the gallery section of this website are abstract in composition and form. They are created through the use of bright and vibrant colors that are applied in thick dabs or swags of paint. Through the use of abstract form, random brush strokes, varied placement of blocks of color, the artwork is meant for each individual viewer to have his/her own personal experience with each piece. Such randomly and almost chaotically applied paint forces the viewer to experience the painting as a whole instead of in sections, which makes for a more intense viewing experience.

Each piece of work is created based on my own temperament / mood at the time of conception through to completion. There are no pre-set plans or sketches. Each individual piece of art is created spontaneously. Therefore, the artwork can vary greatly based on any given day. A descriptive title is then given to each piece of work upon completion. This further enables the viewer to personally interpret the artwork.

All of these aspects, help to create paintings that are fresh and diverse in color, style, composition and subject matter.
